Dear Students and Families,
We hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement as we prepare for a new school year – the start of the Fall 2023 at Castle Rock Middle School!
We hope you had a wonderful break and are feeling refreshed and ready for all the exciting learning ahead. As we step through the doors once again, we do so with a sense of hope, enthusiasm, and anticipation for all the opportunities that await. Our classrooms eagerly await laughter, inquisitive minds, and the hum of learning that will soon fill them.
To our returning students, welcome back! We have missed your smiles, your unique personalities, and the vibrant atmosphere you bring to our school community.
To our new students, a warm welcome! We are excited to have you join our school family, and can’t wait to see the potential you’ll bring to our school.
To our parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting us with the education and well-being of your students. We value the partnership between home and school and promise to do our utmost to provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where your student can flourish.

Meet the CRMS Administration
Tiffaney Golden, Principal
My education began in a small town (Toutle), and I made the decision to teach in a small town due to the relationships you can establish and the rich family history of these small communities. My educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with endorsements in K-12 Reading and K-8 Elementary Education from Eastern Washington University. I started my teaching career at Castle Rock Middle School teaching math and ELAl. I taught math for 6 years, while also working on a Masters of Arts in Education and a Principal Credential through Washington State University. After I completed my credential I had the opportunity to be the Dean of Students at Castle Rock High School for 3 years before coming back to the middle school. I am beginning my 17th year as principal at Castle Rock Middle School. My family and I have lived in Castle Rock since 1997.
My Why –
Relationships. I really enjoy getting to know students and their families. Making strong bonds helps us understand each other better. I also love reading and learning. It’s exciting to share this passion and help others get excited about it too. I want to help students do their best and have fun while we learn and grow together.
